BLIND GIRL SUCCUMBS TO MALARIA

Amina Nabagesera (Six years) who was recently admitted to the School of the blind in Jinja has passed on. According to her auntie, Amina was admitted with malaria and received treatment but her situation kept deteriorating until she breathed her last this morning. " She fell sick a month ago but I thought it was simple malaria but later her state worsened and when took her to the hospital, she was admitted until this morning when she passed on" Said Amina's auntie who has been taking care of her. Amina was abandoned by her mother after she had her eyes removed due to cancer. Her father also died on seeing her daughter without eyes due to hypertension. Ever since her auntie has been surviving on handouts for treatment and survival. RIP Angel. Till we meet again
