Students of HSC club at Kingstone High School

Over role objective: Keep girls in school programme aims at reducing the number of girls dropping out of school and deter early marriages. Its major goal is to ensure girls stay in school to completion. Currently, the program runs at Kingstone High School located in Kawempe, a city suburb that is densely populated and houses mainly the urban poor.

What we do:

Engage with girls on sex, reproduction and empowerment. Parents in the communities where we operate and teachers are also part of the project because girls can’t live in isolation.

Girls who have been victims also get time to share their experience with those still in school.
